The hair in the ears must be pulled for showing but if your dog doesn't have much or has no problems with was or infection, why not leave it be? I do all my own grooming but I must admit that I have a friend who is a groomer pull Connor's ear hair before a show cause I don't want to be the bad guy. As soon as Cricket grows out of her drama stage she'll need to go in though, the hair in her ears is really thick!
