After all is said and done -- I'm afraid that your daughter has one of life's hard lessons to learn.
I know it's going to be hard - but I'm sure that after the puppy is gone for a while, she get over it. And, you have to take some solace in the fact that you have told her from the get-go that the little puppies will be going to new homes.
I hope you're not planning to have another litter in the future!!!
