I just type my post and attach the pictures (you know, using the paper clip icon at the top), then I hit the Preview Post button.

That way, I can see what pictures were first or move them or rearrange them or whatever....then, I can type something next to the pictures.

Oh, I have always attached pictures using the "manage attachment" right below . . .neve thought to do the paperclip. I better try it next time
