Yesterday my bf and I were talking, and I brought up that soon we probably won't even be allowed to put "Merry Christmas" signs in front of our houses on Christmas. I respect that everyone has different beliefs and celebrates different holidays, but to me, atleast in my area, it's like people are trying to diminish christmas.

Even when I was in grade school we couldn't say "Merry Christmas", and it had to be a "Holiday Party", not a Christmas party. Which is fine because I understand we gotta include everyone, but my complaint is that we would learn about Chanauka (sp?) and Kwanza, but God forbid we learn anything about Christ. I believe my mom even called the school board on that one too.

I still say Merry Christmas, and I will continue too. Of course, to people I know who dont' celebrate Christmas I will say "Happy Holidays", but I still have my right to celebrate what I want too.
