I feel its quite safe. Adonis has been going outside for 5 years on his own. The only problem I ever had was some kittens in the back yard.

They never stay out more than 3-5 minutes before Adonis is barking at the back door. I know, that could be plenty of time for something to come swoop one up. I live in a fairly large city, and been in the same place for over 15 years, so I'm really familiar with whats around and what isn't. My neighbor does have chickens (in the middle of the city, lol) so I know there are no chicken hawks around.

I'm really shocked, the rug is still dry! Its been back down 24 hours. Still knocking on wood here!
