I'm a Christian and I also say Merry Christmas. What I don't like is how Christmas is abbreviated as X-Mas.

I'm afraid I'm going to "stir the hornet's nest" but I have to share my views of the original post.

This is America, and yes we have the privilege of Free Speech, so I feel it is wrong to correct other people who chooses to say Happy Holiday's, Happy Hannauka or Happy Quanza. That's their choice and I have no right to correct them.

Good Cheer, is just one person giving warm fuzzies to another. There is no reason to let one little word turn a good moment into a confontational one. Jesus wants us to LOVE our Brothers and Sisters regardless of our differences.
