She is still trying to fight off her infection but it is getting better. I took her in for a second opinion and they said that this does commonly happen. (I guess when the sutures start to disentregrate their bodies can attack them because they are a foreign body.) There was a few days that were scary because she was throwing up everywhere. The vet did blood work to make sure she didn't have an internal infection and that come back negative. I am relieved that it wasn't too serious but she has still been running around with her cone on her head to for two weeks and her belly is still not healed.
Coco is doing good though and her spirits are up even though she still has about another week with a cone on her head.
