Hi everyone!
So my baby Sophie has an eye problem. About a month ago she had a foxtail removed from her eye... removal went fine, recovery too. But ever since her last follow up about two weeks ago, her eye has been blinking and seems like she can't open it all the way. Some days is better, some days its worse. So we have her wearing a cone and we continue to give her the eye ointment that was perscribed for her since she also had a scratch from the foxtail on her cornea. I would bring her back to her original vet, but they have a lot of complaints filed against them and i had really bad service the last time i went there, previous to her eye incident we had no problems with them. So, today is saturday and most vets are already closed, except for our original vet. SO I'm stuck between a rock and hard place on whether to take her there again. ALSO, since she had her last f/u appt. she has been honking more than usual and now it even happens at night while shes getting ready to sleep. I wonder if she got kennel cough from there or not. She was boarded at the vet two full days and one night. ( Now she did the snorting thing when excited of drank water to fast, but now its just random times throughout the day) I just dont know what to do. It worries me to wait till monday, but it worries me just the same to bring her to the same vet. ARGH!
what should i do guys? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
