 Collapsed Trachea
I am dealing with this issue with Gizmo. He is 13yrs old and has had this problem a little over a year. There is not much we can do but try to keep him calm. At night, we have a sedative that we give him so he can sleep. On top of this, he is blind. My husband and I just do all that we can to try to keep him comfortable. He is such a sweet dog and I have had him since he was 2mos old. Some people tell us that we should have him put to sleep, but we are just not ready to do that yet. Hang in there and just do your best to keep them comfortable.
