My male Yorkshire Terrier, Duke, is 5 years old. I am his second Mommy though. I've not taken him to the vet. as he had just been and had his shots updated when he was given to me. Now it's that time again. I do not live near his old vet. (I do have his old records), so I was going to take him to the one that has treated most of the animals in my family. He is my first dog of my own, so, I was just wondering what all I needed to have done? I also have a few concerns, such as heavier breathing when sleeping and being a little itchier than normal... I figure if I tell them he just needs his shots updated, they will know what to do. But what else? Also, anyone have any estimates of how much I will be spending? I figure it varies from area to area. Thanks in advance.
