I'm glad someone else remembers Howdy!!!! I was afraid I would be the only one! We were first in our neighborhood to buy a TV [black & white, of course]! The only other girl in our neighborhood was the daughter of a minister and wasn't allowed at our house if the TV was on! When her Mom would call to check up on her, she would make us turn the volume down and she would always say, no the TV isn't on!! [BTW, we weren't heathens! My Dad was a deacon at the Baptist church and her Dad was a Church of God minister! ]
