I can't leave mine outside unattended..........we have a hawk that circles once in a while and he/she is a pretty good size.
I don't think it could lift my kids but the talons could certainly do some damage.
I guess mine are also spoiled as they are always underfoot whether I am folding clothes, cleaning or at the computer......they want to be with me.
They get so upset when I clean the pool with them inside the house (chemicals might hurt them); they just want to be with me..........and I with them!
