I totally agree that it depends on the parents weights. A 12 lb Yorkie is likely to have puppies twice as big as a 6 lb Yorkie.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that you can expect the puppies' weights to be similar in onces as the parents are in pounds. For example if your parent dogs are 5 lb and 3 lb you could expect puppies to be around 3 to 5 onces when born. Of course some dogs have really fat pups and others really small pups so this is just a rough guess. But I think it's safe to say you wouldn't get a 12 oz newborn out of a 6 lb dog.
