Check out baby scales -- most are fairly accurate to the ounces. Ebay has lots of them. Might even call around to the children consignment shops. But most any vet will let you come in and use their scales -- I don't think to do it, but I know ours does cause I have seen others come in and just get a weight while I am waiting for an appointment.
