My oldest yorkie is a year and 2 months old and he will have to get up in the middle of the night to potty unless I take him on a good walk before bed. If your yorkie is really wild, she definately needs more exercise. Try taking her on a good walk a couple of times a day and then right before you go to bed at night. On the walk before bed, she will potty and probably won't have to get up in the middle of the night. My yorkie won't potty before bed UNLESS I take him on a walk to do his business. I have found that this is the one and only way he won't wake me up in the middle of the night to go potty.
I let both my yorkies sleep in bed with me. I am sure your yorkie is just sad that your other dog gets to sleep in bed with you and not her!!!!!! Why is the harm??
My oldest yorkie also chews on my socks. I just have to put my socks in a place where he cannot get to them and also I shut my bedroom door so he can't get in there. Bc my yorkie seems to like playing with socks more than his toys, I just take old socks that are missing a match and give them to my yorkie to play with. Those are HIS socks. He is allowed to play with his socks, not mine. Maybe you can try that.
The prevent other chewing, give your yorkie a bully stick, flossie, Nylabone, something for her to chew on so she won't chew on things she isn't supposed to chew on.
I think you will regret giving her away, but it is obvious she isn't getting enough exercise during the day. If she was, she wouldn't be so wild. |
