Like Lunasmom said, you are one of the lucky ones. Reputabable breeders do their best to decrease genetic disease and defects in pups. Puppy mills don't. They don't care, and they put these dogs through torture. Think of what your furbaby's dam's life is like. Chances are, she's not living a good life. Why continue with treating dogs like this? Please check out this website though, and learn more. I really don't see why you are "not thrilled with thread". I'm not trying to offend anyone, and yes some people buy from petstores when they dont know (some people buy from petstores because they just don't care). So are you not thrilled with the fact that people are trying to help these poor puppymill dogs out or what?
