My Toby does this also. The vet said the same thing, reverse sneezing, not a problem. Sometimes he gets excited and will do this also, sounds terrible and seems to involve his whole body, can't catch his breath. It is scary to watch but when it is over he is not harmed. He is healthy and very active so I guess the vet is right. You have to trust!
