One other thing that might help is a heating pad. I used one TONS when we first got Jaxon. You can get the auto-shut off kind at Walmart - it turns off after a couple of hours and you can also adjust the heat setting.
We used it under a towel for him and slept on it lots. Now, he still uses that heating pad in one of his beds (no, he isn't spoiled at all
).
