We love Doggy Daycare..

Emma goes to Daycare on days where we work long or have engagements after work and can't be with her around 5 pm. This is the time she starts freaking out because everyone else in our condo starts coming home, and she knows if we're not home on time.

Ours is just an in-home kind of thing, but there are several dogs that go there. Emma's main playmate is a Chi named Lola who's about 2 lbs., so Emma is the big dog for once! There is also a 9 year old very gentle lab, an Austrailian Terrier, and a Jack Russell that frequent daycare.

It's run by a retired couple, and they have the whole place set up for dogs. There is a glassed-in porch with a doggie door to outside and a fenced in yard. They feed each dog separately, and give meds and groom upon directions. They do not give treats unless requested, no people food, and no rawhide or greenies. If we need to leave Emma overnight, they actually let her (and all the other dogs) SLEEP IN THEIR BED WITH THEM! This is better than kid daycare, and Emma loves it. She enjoys being with people all day, and playing with the other dogs. And, the best part: it's only $5 a day, $10 overnight! WOW~!~!~!
