Yorkie24u: Just wanted to thank you again for the site you sent me. My family is visiting from out of state so today was the first chance I got to actually read through the homepage and check out some of the links about therapy dogs. I don't know if she'll ever be absolutely obedient to commands, she has a stubborn streak in her, but she loves everyone she comes in contact with and is very gentle. Site you sent says I should get her certified and once that's done she'd be insured through the organization, rather than go out on my own, as I have been doing, to a group home for handicapped people. I'll keep researching but thank you for putting me on the right path... |
