We had a female maltese first and we wanted a companion for her and along came the opportunity to get a male yorkie. He was six months old and she is four years old so he is all play and being older and more docile, he was a bit annoying at first but they are best buds now and sleep together, share their food bowls with each other and play alot together.........I'll always have two dogs now!
