After finding out that I will have to fly miss Bella as checked bagage back home (8.5hr flight) I have been trying to prepare her as best as possible. Today I decided to take her along with me to run erands around the city. I was pleasently suprised at her calm behaviour on the subway and walking the very busy streets downtown. I didn't have her in a carry-all, she walked the whole time or sat in my lap. I know the whole air travel thing is going to be tramatic, but she seems to be very comfortable with strange, load noises and different enviroments. We have a month before the big take off day, so my plan is to keep on exposing her to new situations. Maybe I had really low epectations but she was so well mannered I was proud!
