I've had a litter box for Chico since he was a baby. I actually use one of those clear plastic storage bins - lots bigger than a cat box. I've had it upstairs so we didn't have to go downstairs and outside at night. Anyway, at first, Chico would go crazy digging and "swimming" in it. Pretty funny, but a huge mess.
Now (11 mos) I put him in it when he first wakes me up and keep putting him in till he pees. Sometimes he'll even run upstairs and pee in it during the day. Sometimes he'll pee next to it...... or sometimes no where near it.........
It's great when it works, but he's a Yorkie with a mind of his own. Good luck. |
