My question is, Even after they are completely crate trained, we still cannot just leave them loose in the house? I was really hoping that at some point, we could just let her run loose with a potty pad or she would hold it to go outside.

thanks,
I bought a soft side mesh crate that comes in a variety of colors and sizes. I picked the bone color because it was better with my decor. I have a few in different rooms. I had one of my dogs catch his paw inbetween two wires in a crate. The door was open since I was home. I heard him screaming. It was hard to disengage it. He had a hairline fracture that required a splint for 6 weeks. I won't use wire crates after this happened. Even after being housebroken, mine consider these crates their safe den.
