All of my puppies have reached 4 pounds (barely in some cases), but all have been healthy. It might not be popular with some, but this is what people want, myself included. Would I continue to produce these 4 pounders at maturity if they weren't healthy? - NO, absolutely not, but as long as they are I don't see a problem with it. Four pounds is still within AKC standards.

No offense taken - I am guilty of breeding for tiny puppies as charged.
