Donations
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Donations are now being accepted! All donations will go towards the cost of hosting, running, and maintaining YorkieTalk.com and keeping the place as friendly as possible, for users new and old! Donations are in no way required. YorkieTalk started as a free community site for Yorkies and it will always stay free! Visitors are not charged to view, use, or share content.
We rely entirely on donations and a few advertisements to keep YorkieTalk up and running. Other costs associated with the site include bandwidth costs, servers, Web hosting, and domain names. Your donation will only go towards the running of YorkieTalk.
We can currently accept donations (any amount is appreciated!) via credit card or Paypal funds by sending money to
donations@yorkietalk.com (or we can take cashier's checks or money orders, for the address, just privately message us). Please let us know your YorkieTalk username as well when you send a donation. If you do not yet have a Paypal account, you can sign up for one for free at
http://www.PayPal.com
What do you get for your donation?
Why, we're glad you asked, you get a shiny new bigger Donating User Title, up to 200 messages in your Private Message box, 5MB of space in the Photo Gallery, and something a little secret (sorry, we promised we can't tell!).
A donation of $20 will also allow you to enter your Yorkie into the YorkieTalk Gift Exchange, which occurs approximately four times per year. Click here for the information on the YT Gift Exchange.
Also, if you donate $20 or more, you can have a bigger avatar that is up to 125 by 125 pixels big and up to 50KB in size.
If you donate $25 or more, you may advertise your Yorkie-related (or commercial) Web site in your signature for a period of one year.
Donations are of course, optional. If you can't afford it, that's no problem, we still value your membership and your support. We just wanted to give all those that have already donated, and that do donate a little something special! YorkieTalk will always be free for users!
Even if you don't donate, you can help out YorkieTalk by clicking on the ads below the main banner when you see something that interests you. It doesn't cost you anything and you support YorkieTalk at the same time!
So thank you to all that have donated, or those that are going to donate! We hope that our Yorkie community can continue to grow with your support! Please note that donations are non-refundable and they are not tax-deductible.
Please note that neither this page nor any link on any YorkieTalk site pointing to this page should be considered a solicitation to make a donation.

Please remember that YorkieTalk is a fully independent site and we rely on member donations to keep the site up and running smoothly. We appreciate your support and value your membership here at YT. As a fully free site, there are a lot of expenses and costs associated with running a site with over 10000 members. Thus, donations really do help (even as little as $5). Donations are completely optional and not required in any way to participate in our community.
Also, we rely on Google ads (that appear below the YorkieTalk banner) to survive. Without it, we would not be able to support YorkieTalk and the resources necessary to run it. Please do click on a Google ad when you see an ad of interest.
Thank you for your support in the past few years and we hope to bring you even more features and surprises as our Yorkie community here continues to grow. We thank you for being a member of YorkieTalk.
