Mason and I just returned from a mini-vacation in FL and boy, did we have a wonderful time in sunny FL!!! For those of you in Northeast region...why the heck is it still freakin' cold?!?! It's almost June, for god's sake.
Anyway, what I wanted to post was about my shocking experience in FL
My mom has a pool in her backyard. The day we got there, it was so warn and sunny that I went out to the deck and wanted to let Mason out to the yard. When I opened the door to the deck, Mason ran out, and fell straight into the pool like he didn't even see the water in front of him!! I thought I was going to have a heart attack, and I screamed "Masoooooon!!!" and was ready to jump in the pool to save him.....but what I saw was Mason paddling away and making his way back to the pool wall
I was in complete shock, as Mason has never been in water (except when he takes baths in a kitchen sink) and never learned how to swim. Are dogs natural swimmers?
