I have 2 8 year old females, 1 yorkie (Buffy) 1 maltese (Melissa), they are only one month apart. Their personalty's are very different, but both want to be mama's only baby. That cause's a lot of problems with food, beds, rest area's, blankets, my lap, my hands, and who gets to me first. I myself I want to get two more yorkies another girl and I never have had a boy so I would like to get one. Melissa is still very active and makes me nuts sometimes, she's just like that child you tell "don't do it" and as soon as turn around they do it, and do it, and do it again! but now she learns to watch when you are not looking like taking a nap or shower. Yes, that smart, at first its funny but after trying different things to correct her and still nothing it looses its cuteness. You have to be one step ahead of her at all times. Now Buffy is very calm, I tell her to sit there and wait for me she does as long as Melissa does not try to follow me, then its a race to who gets there first and Melissa will puch Buffy down and step on her (if I let her, which I don't!) so you see what I mean. I can go on and on, just pick a problem topic. I don't know if the same happens with two female yorkies.
