I've owned lots of different kinds of dogs(as a kid we'd rescue dogs from the animal shelter pretty often). You name it, we probably had one. I can honestly say that now after owning a yorkie, I'll always own a yorkie.
In the small breed type of dog I've had a s**tzu, pekingese, chihuahua, pomeranian, mixes and been around poodles. Yorkies are the best.
The only disadvantages so far have been the watery eyes(which would be even harder with a white maltese) and the fact that since my girl was small, I had to carry her down the stairs for the first 7 months of her life. She's on her way to 8 months old and can now go down them finally. |
