Wow, normally this question elicits a lot of disgust and lack of desire to be discussed. I'm glad to see this response. Since we're on this topic and we're all sharing our beliefs, here's mine:
I don't believe that Jesus was who the bible makes him out to be.
I do believe that there is a higher being. A God if you will, but I don't follow any particular practise. I enjoy seeking the truth and I find that more and more to be in history and what we uncover about our past.
The "telephone game" was never a very reliable one, was it? (i.e. the bible)
In the end, I think it's important for a race like ours that we really need a belief system and the stories of Jesus and the like help many people find comfort when thinking of the unknown.
