6 pounds at 9 months? He's most likely going to be over the standard in weight, what about in size?

There are many good reasons to breed and even more bad ones. Please do some more research, ask tons of questions - here might be a good start as you've already found out!

Yorkies are a dime a dozen out in this world. In fact, they've bumped the German Shepherd and are now in the #3 spot for AKC's most popular breed. Therefore, you may want to consider only breeding your Yorkies if you've got something better to produce than most others out there. Otherwise, what makes your Yorkie better than the one they can get from the petstore (that's oversized at maturity too) down the street that also has a great temperment and is cute?

Just things to consider.
