[Samson's Mom]

We chose the breeder! After looking for many months to find a great and reputable breeder who refused to do the "puppy mill" thing, we found a couple not far away who met every requirement we had on our list. We were able to go to their home and visit with them AND with their five dogs, and we were so impressed by the temperaments, health, appearance and socialization of each dog that we knew we were in the right place. Then the waiting game began. We were able to choose which dam we liked the best (incredibly hard choice) and then waited for the call that she was expecting. It was several months before we got the call. We knew we wanted a male puppy as we have an alpha female German shepherd. When Samson's litter was born, he was the only male. He was ours! We have had the great fortune to visit him every week and watch him grow. We already see the bonding process beginning, and it has been amazing to watch the dam interact with the pups and with us. It's almost as if she knows her baby is going to a good home!
