I have the same problem with my female yorkie. Her coat is thin and breaks alot too when combing. My male on the other hand has a thick, full coat, with almost no breakage. I asked groomers at PetSmart what I could do about her hair and they told me that all i could do was to keep her shampooed and conditioned. They said that some puppies can take as long as one year to get her coat and that her thin hair is probably genetic. |
