Luckily the spotting started last Friday Oct 27th. It has been very light. Just a little spotting. I did buy the panties but haven't really needed them. She has been good about keeping herself very clean. I have only given her one bath. But she has stayed very clean. I think I could call myself lucky so far. She is my only inside dog so I don't worry about other males getting to her. I will definately speak with Paula in about a year or so when I get ready to possibly breed her. Thanks for your very good advice and info.

There are SO many aspects in breeding. You're doing right by trying to get all of the info that you can.

First heats can be messy. The immature female may not be as clean as we would like. Just get her some panties...this helps a great deal.

Keep ALL intact males away from her...don't want any accidents happening.
