I tried the Can Trick with chester , it does not work. It only scares Chelsey.
So it worked for her. I heard that if a log is laying down they cannot bark at the same time. So we are trying that as well but when the door bell rings. The option is tell chester down. And he will not do it since he is busy barking. The other thing is we are in the process of running to the door so we can not pick him up and place him on our lap at that time. It is hard to get him to stop because we are always in motion for answering the door. He just won't stop until the person leaves or entered our home.
p.s usally when the door rings chester is in his play pen as we do not want him to run outside.
We still want him to let us know someone is there... we just want him to stop when we say quiet. Any help would be appreciated as this has been happening for 2 years now. Thank goodness Chelsey has not picked it up yet |
