I adopted my yorkie and she is 3 1/2 years old. She is almost 100 percent trained for indoor pee pads. I like it that way and would hate to subject her to the extreme north east winters. I don't want her to go out in the rain either. Besides my other yorkies would take a look out on a rainy day and run back inside. I agree with some of the other advice given. If she goes outside when we are on a walk, great. Otherwise I am happy she goes inside on her pee pads. I guess I am a very protective parent.
