I have watched children for 14 years now. I usually just watch smaller kids, newborn -elementary age. I charge by the hour and once kept a little girl for 5 days over night while her parents were on a cruise. I still charged by the hour, but then I only charge $3.00 an hour. I think I made about $500, they gave me a little more than hourly pay to cover food cost. If there are 2 kids from Thursday til Sunday I think I would charge about $450-$475 for both of them. It sounds like you will be taking them places, feeding them and other things, so I think that is an excellent price. I wouldn't take into account the childs age, whatever the age you are still feeding, transporting and giving quality care to the child. |
