I make a piece of light weight card board the size of the bow and I make a line down the middle of the card board . then I hold the card board on top of the ribbon and start the stiching on the line of the card board. When I reach the far side of the ribbon I make sure it is still lined up with the line. Does this make sense??? I use the same small piece of card board all the time.
Every one will come out perfect.
I also have pieces of card board cut to make sure I have the right length of ribbon for the bow. If this is all to confusing I may be able to take some pictures for you.
