To get started I found a great breeder who got me just what I asked for and has been very supportive. I took a handling class at our local kennel club. I attended a few matches so that Connor and I could practise what we were learning. I went to a seminar that the local kennel club put on. You can find good info on websites as well. Try Jon-An, Cookie is great and has lots of good advise. I went to the show with the teacher of our handling class. It's alot of fun going with the class because we all support each other. One of the ladies did say that if she didn't have us to support her and talk to she probably wouldn't return because no one would talk to her. The show staff was very friendly and helpful, don't be afraid to ask questions. Take a support person and try a match first. It's alot of fun!
