My dog is five years old, neutered years ago... and he always has to hike that leg up and put a little bit of pee in about 20 different places whenever we go out. I have actually put pee pads all over the couch before because he went through a little phase of always wanting to pee there. After awhile, he stopped though... just had to reprimand him verbally. I always use the method of making him sniff where he peed, saying NO!, then taking him outside and giving him verbal praises when he goes on the tree instead the couch.
