Because she is so small and will not ever be big enough to breed, it might just be best to have her spayed right now and all of your worries and fears will be gone. Talk to the vet and I am sure he will have the answer for you. I am pretty sure if she is a week and a half into her heat and a male was in your house and back yard chances are she is now pregnant.
But what worries me more is that a dog was in your yard, that means if he can get in your dog can get out. It might be time to fix the fences....
