My SO bought a sleep number bed before I met him. When I first moved in with him, it took me a little while to get used to it, but now I love it. If my back is bothering me for some reason, I can increase the number and it works wonders.

His parents had stayed with us and we let them sleep in our bed, and they ended up buying one as well they liked it so much.

My Mom tried it out, loved it, and is now looking into buying one as well.

On the flip side, temperature fluctuations change the pressure, and sometimes you go to bed (really tired) not realizing that your number went from 35 to 55 and you wake up with a sore neck because you've slept in a number that you don't normally sleep, and it was to firm. Or the opposite. So... that's my only beef. LOL.
