Thanks for the info. Yes, I knew Riley had "Shark Teeth" so I was ready for a major number. But 14!!!! Before the vet did anything they called to get my permission & warn me about the added cost. What could I say? With Riley sedated, this was the best time to do this. I couldn't get her to open her mouth to give her her pain pill last night. So I put some Nutri Stat on my finger & hid the pill in it. She licked it all up. She had a quiet night, so we'll see how today goes. I was told to wet down her food for a couple of days.
I was also surprised at the tiny incision (it's not even as big as a dime). My friends' yorkie had a 3 inch cut! |
