I soooo don't have any advice on this one. I had the rule - no doggie on the furniture or in the bed. It sure didn't last long. Every once in a while Punkin will get up out of bed and go sleep on the couch - we feel sad without her and at 3 am I'm peeking around the house looking for her to come to bed with us.

In bed she has to be as close to us as possible. It sure is cute when I sleep in on the weekends she so patiently will get her face as close to mine as possible and when I open my eyes she is pleading 'is it time to play'. I swear she knows the days of the week.

I'm not sure how an 8.5 pound doggie can take up so much room and hog the blankets...but it happens and we love every minute of it
