Have something warm and soft for puppy. Towels, puppy bed, pillow, etc. If puppy cries when you hold it, try talking to it soothingly while cuddling it and hug it close to your body so that it feels secure while you pick it up. You can even try singing something nice and sweet to it like some children's song. When it is tired, he will stop crying. When you do put it down, put him in to his crate with pillow and blankie or dog bed to make it feel safe. Sometimes, puppies adjust to their new homes as soon as they get there or it might take up to a week. Good luck and let us know if it gets better. An 11 weeks old puppy shouldn't take too long to adjust. Maybe there is something going on? Like a physical condition? It might be a good thing to see a vet if you haven't done so.
