Sure sounds like a seizure to me, too. There are seizures of unknown cause and they can be grand mal or petit mal. Grand mal are the dramatic ones you see on TV. Petit mals can be nothig more than staring. No matter-they both are degrees of seizures. There is a period of time after the Grand mal seizure where the body will stay very stiff and the animal can be unresponsive and to the untrained eye, the do appears dead. Same thing happens to humans. And, I will say that people and animals do indeed die of seizures! So, please keep a journal but try to learn what is important and what is just normal "odd" behavior that any dog can exhibit. Hypoglycemia can cause seizures so I would ALWAYS keep NutriStat where I can get it. Squirt some right uder hs tongue. Doesn't matter whether his sugar is not low-better to err on the side of caution. Check your baby's mouth and see if he has any bite marks inside his cheeks or in his tongue!!
