Default Need Breeding 101

I am new at this. I have a almost 8month old yorkie I bought from a very good breeder. Which I will probably refer to as well. My little girl is having her first cycle. My breeder told me it is good to wait 2 years to breed, which I will definately do. I want to make sure I learn alot about breeding before I breed her. I have never bred a dog much less a yorkie. I know yorkies can have c-section and complication depending on size and so forth. I would like all you breeders to educate me as much as possible about breeding before I decide breeding is something I would like to do. I want to make sure I do what is best for Ritzie and the breed itself. As far as learning where do I start? I have never had a dog that wasn't spayed. This is my first cycle, should I take her to the vet to make sure everything is acting the way it should be, is there signs I should look for? PLEASE HELP! I would like to do things right!!!!!!
