 What a Day!
Have you ever had a day that you thought it just cant get any worse? I'm having one of thoose kinds of days today!
!st I go into work and I work at a video store in a grocery store, my dad works there as well, he is the "lead carry out" he has been there for 6 years, he retired from a foundry so this is something that he does part time to give him something to do.
Well I walk into work and he is there and I go to talk to him and he tells me he got FIRED! I was like, your joking right? he said no, he was dead serious, so he tells me what happened and I guess some woman had said to him "I sure hope I win that cruise" (are store is giving away a free cruise) so my dad says, "well if you hold your mouth right, you may just win" well that lady got all pissed off and took it the wrong way and says, "how dare you talk to me like that" so she goes and calls corperate and puts a complaint on him about sexual harrasment! OMG, that is NOT sexual harrasment! If you knew my dad, you would no that he is a joker and very well liked in are town, he plays the drums and is in a band and has been for 15 years. So I was totally shocked when he tells me this.
So I go back to start my shift and my boss tells me that there closing down the video dept and Friday is the last day people can rent videos and my last day is Monday! My mouth dropped to the floor, I just cant believe this, we do very well and we make a profit and have a very large clientele. So now I have no idea what the world I will do, I enjoyed working there, it was just part time, but I have become close with my boss, she is such a sweet lady and I enjoyed working with her, she is just as devastated as I am.
So we will be selling all are movies at a very low cost, even the new releases, so let me know if your looking for anything, I may be able to get it for you!
