UPDATE!!! I went to the vet...for anyone who lives in Queens or Long Island, NY---Dr. Patricia Brew at the Bellerose Animal Hospital in Bellerose, NY is a great doctor...(our other vet was so ghetto)

Dr. Brew said that she doesn't think that Archie broke any bones or anything, and he doesn't have luxating patella because she can't manipulate his knee, which is a good thing. But she thinks he got a sprain/strain because when she touches his knee, he winces slightly, but not in ridiculous pain. I think she might have done something because Archie is walking pretty OK now. She prescribed him an anti-inflammatory medicine (Deramax) and told me he is not allowed to play with the big dogs, or jump off furniture for one week. He can go outside, but only for "business." No running, etc. I am to call in one week and let her know if he's doing better or not. Yay! I feel much better now...
