Well I would never recommend using a shock collar on a yorkie, really I wouldn't recommend using a shock collar period. I actually had an extra paragraph in my post earlier, deleted it, and forgot to add that back in. If someone asked me if it worked on my dog I would say yes, we haven't had any problems with it. We don't use it anymore since we live in the country. But when we lived in a neighborhood someone filed a complaint against us about his barking. Since he had food agression issues giving him away was not something we could do (we wouldn't have wanted to anyway). The man came and told us point blank next time there will be a fee and after that we will take the dog, so he probably would've been put down had they due to his food aggression. We only used it on him at night so he was free to bark to his hearts content during the day.
Like I said though we did not have any problems with the collar. Not to mention this particular one wasn't that bad we all took a shock before we put it on him, its more of a static shock just to startle him.
